Our Story
Snyman Sjokolateur Boutique
The chocolaterie was founded in 2005 and grew from the Snyman's passion for quality chocolate and their love for Brugges, Belgium — the 'chocolate capital of the world'. The Snymans were trained as chocolatiers by a master chocolatier in Belgium.
Thereafter owner Hannes, also a pharmacist of profession, used his knowledge of chemistry and flair with food to develop an exclusive range of pralines and other chocolate products.
The Snyman Sjokolateur team has since grown. Lily, the manager, specializes in chocolate paintings and in the writing of personified messages in chocolate.

Artisinal Pralines
Snyman Sjokolateur's pralines are unusual and innovative. There are more than forty different flavours to choose from, ranging from chilly, biltong, fudge, dark coffee or marula. The flavours are intense, the textures varied and captivating. The top of each praline boasts a distinctive texture and shape that makes selection easy. The chocolates are about 2 - 3 cm in diameter and about 1-2 cm in height and the plain white box with a choice of ribbon or bow the epitome of understated elegance. We can also wrap it in the gift paper of your choice or you may select one of our various luxury boxes on offer to package your pralines.
